Your role within Genexis

You are a trusted (technical) advisor to Genexis prospects and customers, who are global network operators, distributors and service providers, with comprehensive knowledge of the Genexis product portfolio and associated technologies.

You will be part of the business development team focusing on technical sales challenges at customers and prospects. Help them to introduce and integrate new and existing products. In this role you also serve as a customer advocate towards other Genexis teams, including product management, product development, technical support, sales and marketing, while participating in discussions throughout the organization to ensure that our customers can successfully integrate our products in their network design.

Acting in the middle field of our operations with customers, while on the other hand helping them to faster benefit from Genexis solutions and realize business value. You will act as the technical (sales) representative leading the direct interaction with customers and project teams, being responsible for focusing on the technical solution while also understanding the business outcomes the customer is trying to achieve.

Your experience

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and interested in becoming proficient with connecting networking solutions to diverse deployment scenarios. To be successful in this role you’ll need a combination of technical know-how, a passion for helping customers succeed, and managing cases throughout the entire support lifecycle. You have a customer-oriented/commercial attitude and love to teach and explain things in a simple way. You are a fast learner, analytically strong, and not afraid of unknown territories. You are eager to continuously develop and improve yourself.

To be successful in this role you are fluent in English with excellent communication skills. Any other language is a benefit.

Your skills

  • Good technical presentation and communication skills
  • You’re able to communicate complex technical topics to customers and co-workers of varying technical skill levels
  • You have more then 10 years technical sales experience
  • You have preferable experience on WAN technologies, such as Active Ethernet, G.Fast, PON topologies and other technologies, combined with knowledge on cloud managed platforms
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP stack, application protocols (DHCP/DNS/HTTPs etc.), API’s and networking concepts (VLANs/OSI Layers etc.)
  • Being able to build deep relationships with people within customer environments to enable them to be Genexis advocates
  • Knowledge of customer premises equipment management/cloud based provisioning software tools, e.g. USP, TR069, GUI
  • You’re comfortable using support and ticketing platforms
  • Strong experience to work in several cultures
